Opportunity
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering/manufacturing company.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary: DOE
8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday. 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Friday.
They have on-site parking, free tea/coffee supplies, workwear/uniform, hearing & eye tests paid for, WeCare support system.
38 days holiday including bank holidays. Pension with 3% employer contribution.
Duties & Experience
- Machinery design – concept to commission
- 2D & 3D AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Heavy machinery sector
- Machining of heavy fabricated parts
- Tolerancing
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (plus)
- Design calculations
- 5 years experience (negotiable)
- Engineer with experience in Ex Time‑served or qualified engineer (would be good for this role)
