About the Role The Head of Sales, UK & Ireland, is responsible for all Group new business sales activities, both to existing and new customers, in the market area and for developing and rigorously executing a coordinated sales strategy to grow revenues and profitability in accordance with the Red Bee Business Plan. Key Responsibilities Develop and be responsible for the new business sales strategy across the entire Red Bee business in the respective market area. Lead the overall new business sales targets and allocate targets to sales team. Provide leadership to all Red Bee sales activities in the market area – to build, encourage, empower and performance manage a world class global new sales team. Contribute to the development of current and future strategic propositions and incorporate these into the overall sales strategy. Organize and ensure that a complete and relevant handover process exists when opportunities are won and passed to operational delivery. Coordinate the relationships in the market area between Sales, Pre-sales, Product, Sourcing, Operations and Commercial Management. Lead and support in collaboration with marketing efficient market visibility within relevant events such as industry groups, talks and seminars, broadcast shows (IBC, NAB, etc.). Own/be directly involved on sales opportunities requiring the most senior sales engagement and the most strategically important opportunities. Represent the Sales Team internally and also represent Red Bee externally with customers as well as at conferences and exhibitions as appropriate. Person Requirements Proven experience in senior new business sales organisations in a new Media, telecoms or broadcast environment. Consistent track record of new business sales wins. Strong customer orientation, communication, collaboration and negotiation skills. Strong business, commercial and financial competence with an entrepreneurial attitude. Excellent teammate – putting the needs of the team first. A dynamic personality able to actively engage and influence a variety of audiences and stakeholders (internally and externally) at all levels of a business. A proactive and participative individual who will get involved to the extent vital to secure the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.
