United Green Group (UG) is a UK-based privately owned strategic investment Group with a successful track record of investment activities in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East spanning almost 100 years. UG has developed a diversified portfolio of large-scale industrial and commercial businesses and investments across multiple sectors.
UG is currently seeking to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst to sit within our London-based Group finance team, to support the analysis and reporting needs across our global portfolio. This position will report into the Global Finance Director for the family office. We cannot provide sponsorship for this position.
Main Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial records in Xero, including invoice uploads, bill processing, and maintaining accurate accounting entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain and update the loan file, tracking loan balances, interest calculations, repayments, and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end close and preparation of management accounts.
- Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. budget), providing clear commentary and insights to support management decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting process across portfolio entities and prepare detailed financial projections.
- Ensure financial and operational data entered in Smartsheet is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Assist with group audit processes, coordinate with different teams and respond to auditor queries.
- Provide support on ad hoc financial analysis and tasks as required by management.
- Experience within a family office or private business would be preferred, but not essential.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or working towards qualification.
- Experience of working within an international environment essential.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI reporting skills essential.
- Proficient with Oracle, SAP, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics and other business software considered advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
