As one of the fastest-growing and highest rated commercial Energy Suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Content & Social Media Specialist based at our offices in Guiseley, Leeds.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong SEO copywriting skills and hands-on social media experience to make a real impact. You’ll take ownership of creating and publishing engaging content across our website, social media channels, and campaigns, helping to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities
- As a Content & Social Media Specialist, you’ll play a key role in creating engaging content and managing our social media presence to grow brand awareness and support lead generation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and rewarding, offering a balance of creative content creation, social media management, and cross-team collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Execute the overall content marketing plan in line with the marketing strategy Create, manage, and publish content across various platforms including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media channels.
- Manage day-to-day social media activity: plan, schedule, post, and engage with audiences across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery across all channels.
- Collaborate with the graphic designer to create visually appealing content. Use Canva (and ideally Adobe InDesign) to design simple graphics for social media and online content.
- Coordinate with the Head of Marketing, the wider marketing team, and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Write compelling and high-quality copy for various platforms, including the website, emails, and ads.
- Monitor social media trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Ensure that all content activities are aligned with the company\\\’s objectives and brand guidelines.
- Analyse and report on content performance using analytics tools to optimise future posts.
- Develop and implement plans to increase website traffic and generate sales leads.
The Individual
- We’re looking for a creative and results-driven individual with the ability to manage content and social media activities efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will bring: 3–5 years’ experience in a content and social media role, either in-house or agency.
- Experience of B2B marketing within a similar industry, or industry with similar challenges.
- In-depth understanding of content marketing channels, tactics, and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them in content creation.
- Experience using content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and social media scheduling tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use insights to optimise content performance.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to developing innovative content and campaigns.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small, fast-paced marketing team.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Enthusiastic about exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance content creation and distribution.
