As one of the fastest-growing and highest-rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are seeking an experienced Lead Supply Point Administrator to join our team at our Guiseley, Leeds office. This is a key role within our Operations team, focused on managing MPAN and MPRN activity, strengthening controls that protect billing accuracy and settlement, and supporting readiness for major industry changes including MHHS and smart, advanced and half-hourly metering.

Responsibilities
  • Supply Point Administration Management: Overseeing meter administration processes (Flows, RGMA, read validation, MTDs, exception management, consumption data validation) to support accurate billing, compliance and customer satisfaction. Also maintaining accurate supply point records.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Ensure operational activity aligns with regulatory and supply/Shipper licence requirements, including obligations relevant to Ofgem, Elexon and REC.
  • Team Support: Support and develop colleagues through coaching, whilst continuously improving processes, supporting wider business when metering issues arise making the operations team run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Third-Party Liaison: Building relationships with meter operators, suppliers, service partners and field technicians to resolve site issues, siteworks, new connections, disconnections and smart meter faults.
  • Customer & Industry Queries: Handle customer and industry queries professionally via phone and email to enhance customer and industry relationships, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Audit & Reporting: Produce agreed reporting and compile evidence for internal and external audits (BSC, SMART meter), helping to maintain strong governance and control.
What are we looking for?
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UK energy market, supply point administration, smart metering and industry data flows.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience of supporting team performance, managing workloads and driving process improvements.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong numerical and investigative skills, with the ability to identify anomalies, resolve defects and improve data accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across frontline teams, management and third-party partners.
  • Knowledge of key industry governance and codes relevant to supply point and metering operations.
  • Awareness of MHHS and its impact on supplier operations.
  • Experience of smart, advanced and/or half-hourly metering operations and associated data flows, including DCC-related activity where applicable.
  • Experience managing meter data exceptions and applying controls that protect invoice accuracy and settlement outcomes.
  • Experience supporting audit activity, control testing or compliance reporting within an energy supplier environment.
  • Continuous improvement experience, including identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions.
  • Confidence using dashboards or BI tools to monitor performance and support decision-making.
