United Food Brands is an entrepreneurial FMCG company building and scaling brands across wholesale, convenience, foodservice and retail. Our portfolio spans sweet bakery, snacks, confectionery and beverages, working with both owned and licensed brands across the UK market. We operate in a fast-paced commercial environment where ambitious people can make a genuine impact, take ownership and grow quickly alongside the business.
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow distribution across wholesale, convenience and foodservice channels. This role is ideal for somebody with FMCG and/or sales experience who enjoys:
- building relationships
- opening new business opportunities
- operating in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
You’ll work closely with the senior commercial team to help drive growth across a portfolio of exciting brands, with exposure to everything from independent wholesalers and symbol groups through to major customer opportunities and new product launches. This is not a heavily corporate environment with layers of hierarchy and slow decision-making. We’re looking for somebody energetic, proactive and commercially hungry who wants real responsibility and the opportunity to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development across wholesale, convenience and foodservice
- Increase UK distribution and account coverage
- Build relationships with wholesalers, symbol groups and independent retail customers
- Support customer presentations, negotiations and commercial planning
- Identify new opportunities for growth across the portfolio
- Represent the business at customer meetings and trade events
What We Are Looking for:
- Previous FMCG and/or sales experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
- Organised and confident managing multiple opportunities
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial business
Full UK driving licence
Aldershot / Hybrid / Field Based
