About Us: United Drains is a commercial drainage specialist operating across London and surrounding counties. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Tanker Driver with drainage experience to operate a 7.5t Jetvac Combination Unit and support our expanding team.
Role Overview: This is a full-time role for a skilled and reliable drainage engineer with experience operating jetting tankers. The position involves a mix of driving, reactive and planned maintenance works across a variety of commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 7.5t Jetvac Combination Unit for drainage cleaning and waste removal
- Carry out high-pressure water jetting
- Assist with CCTV drainage surveys
- Work on grease traps, pump chambers, and petrol interceptors
- Support with site surveys and quoting when required
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
- Complete job reports and communicate findings with the team
Desirable Skills (not all essential):
- Previous experience using Jetvac or similar combination units
- Working knowledge of CCTV drainage systems
- Understanding of grease traps, pump systems, and interceptors
- Basic quoting experience
- Strong awareness of health & safety standards
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- HGV 7.5t licence OR passed driving test before 1 January 1997
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (required)
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Team player with a flexible approach to working hours
- Must live within easy reach of Harlow, Essex
- DBS check required (processed by us)
