About the Role
We are seeking ambitious, outstanding candidates to join our teaching staff. The successful applicant will coordinate the effective delivery of Electrical Installation study programmes across various levels, provide academic leadership for students and create an exciting curriculum that is engaging, relevant and coherent. They will maintain upâtoâdate industry knowledge, bring in industry professionals where possible, and support learners to meet individual aspirations and goals, including attendance to Maths and English if required. The role also involves coordinating the progression and tracking of learners' achievements, leading study programmes to attain outstanding achievement and student retention.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or NVQ at level 3 (E)
- NICEIC registered (D)
- Maths and English to level 4 CGSE or equivalent (E)
- Assessors Qualification (D)
- Teaching qualification Level 3 (D)
- Ability to communicate and explain complex issues in a clear, understandable way (E)
- High organisational skills with the ability to manage complex projects with excellent attention to detail (D)
- Experience of motivating, developing and managing the performance of learners (E)
- Strong communication skills with key senior stakeholders, effective workload management and ability to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues and stakeholders
Career Development
We welcome candidates with industry experience. The role requires you to work towards a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or to be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
