We are currently seeking a Supported Employment Coordinator to work as part of the Supported Learning team. You will be working alongside colleagues on the discrete provision for young people with learning disabilities to develop high quality, personalised work experience and employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Working with students and their tutors to agree, secure, monitor and review appropriate work experience placements.
  • Maintain and develop effective links with employers, Course Tutors, Employment Advisors, Job Coaches, parents/carers and other partners.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent communication, organisational, record keeping and team working skills.
  • Positive approach to problem solving and developing innovative practice.
