Our mission is to provide all our learners with the very best knowledge and to break down any barriers to learning. We pride ourselves on enabling our learners to meet their individual needs and aspirations and we deliver a learning experience that is unique, enjoyable and rewarding.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance, quality and strategic development of a college centre. You will work closely with the Principal and wider SLT to translate the College’s vision and priorities into clear, deliverable plans that drive strong outcomes for learners. You’ll lead across all aspects of curriculum, teaching and learning, student support and operations, ensuring high standards, innovation and consistency. A key part of the role is aligning the curriculum to local skills needs and national priorities, while using data and insight to continuously improve performance, retention, achievement and progression. You will also play a central role in leading and developing senior staff, embedding a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Alongside this, you’ll build strong external partnerships and identify opportunities to grow provision and enhance the student experience.

About you

You will be an experienced and credible senior leader, ideally with a strong background in Further Education or a similarly complex organisation. You will bring a track record of delivering high performance, leading change and improving outcomes across large, diverse teams. You’ll have a strong understanding of curriculum quality, teaching and learning, and student support, alongside the ability to use data effectively to drive improvement. You will be confident working at both a strategic and operational level, able to turn vision into practical delivery and measurable impact. A collaborative and values-led approach is essential. You will be skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and able to engage, influence and inspire teams to achieve shared goals. Above all, you will be committed to inclusion, student success and continuous improvement, leading with integrity, resilience and a clear focus on making a positive difference to learners and the wider community.
