Overview
The Faculty of Health, well-being and Care has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced permanent Lecturer in Uniformed Public Services. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme, as well as teaching across all programmes.
Responsibilities
- Tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme.
- Teaching across all programmes as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree (or equivalent) in a related area.
- Familiar with the current BTEC and NCFE curriculum.
- Encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory.
- Sound organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team.
- Recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or willingness to work towards Level 5 teaching qualification on appointment.
- Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills.
