The successful applicant will coordinate the effective delivery of the Performing Arts study programmes across various levels, providing academic leadership for students. The role involves creating engaging, relevant and coherent curriculum and supporting learners to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery of Performing Arts programmes across various levels, ensuring academic leadership for students.
- Create engaging, relevant, and coherent curriculum in line with local and national priorities.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and bring in industry professionals as relevant to the curriculum.
- Support and motivate learners to meet their individual aspirations and goals.
- Coordinate tracking of learners’ achievements and support student retention and progression.
- Lead study programmes to attain outstanding achievement, student retention, and progression.
Qualifications
- Sound organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team.
- Creativity and a positive, constructive attitude.
- Experience in the performing arts industry is welcomed.
- Willingness to work towards a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
