Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of apprentices by monitoring attendance, progression, achievement and completion.
- Organise pastoral support as required.
- Work with all parties involved to resolve any issues that may affect successful completion of the programmes.
- Coordinate the achievement of all aspects of apprenticeship standards or frameworks, ensuring learners achieve on time and in line with college targets.
- Develop individual action plans, including the setting of SMART targets tailored to meet apprentices' needs.
- Travel to all college campuses and to other external venues as required.
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant vocational qualification at or above level 3 and hold an Assessor award and IQA award.
- Have relevant up‑to‑date industrial/subject knowledge and knowledge of the Electrical industry and employment opportunities.
- Have knowledge of Ofsted and apprenticeship and AEB funding.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to manage priorities, working as part of a team to ensure quality of provision and timely overall successful outcomes.
- Commitment to and enthusiasm for delivering an excellent customer service, demonstrating problem‑solving attributes for apprentices, employers and other key stakeholders.
