About the role

The Business and Accounting Career Cluster has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer. The role will involve tutoring and teaching Level 1, 2 and 3 vocational programmes in Business. The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current BTEC Business and curriculum, and we encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory. You will be required to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students enrolled in Business, T-Level in Management & Administration and any other relevant awarding bodies. The role includes preparing learners for academic success, industry placements, and career readiness, in alignment with national standards and college quality expectations. The successful candidate will become part of a well-established, high-performing team; therefore, strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential. You should also possess sound organisational skills. Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills. It is desirable to have a Level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
