£26,743.00 - £28,942.00 including London Weighting Allowance per annum (Pro Rata of £30,238.00 - £32,437.00 including London Weighting Allowance per annum). Full Time, Term Time Only.

United Colleges Group provides education to over 11,000 learners a year, including 16–18-year-olds, adults, apprentices, and students with high needs, across our five campuses and two colleges; City of Westminster College and College of North West London. You will be supporting students and staff in our Learning Resources Centres.

Job Responsibilities
  • To contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Learning Resource Centres and to work as part of a team providing effective support for students and staff.
  • To carry out counter duties, including using a computerised system to issue and discharge materials.
  • To assist users in researching and retrieving information from the Learning Resource Centre’s paper-based and computerised resources.
  • To promote the Learning Resources service to students and staff.
  • Support students to behave in a manner which does not prevent other students from learning.
Person Specification
  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to communicate with students and staff, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure, organise own work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and relate to, and work cooperatively with other teams across the College.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the UCG Equality and Diversity Policy, together with practical ideas for implementation in this post.

You will be required to work some evenings and occasional Saturdays.
