Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Youth Engagement Outreach Workers to join a reputable private charity in Lancashire on a contract basis. Working with young adults aged 18 to 25, you will lead on the delivery of high-quality provision across this distinct and diverse age range with a focus on access, engagement, and support via a range of 1:1 and group interventions, inclusive of assessment & care planning, working holistically, and supporting the likelihood of a safer, healthier & happier life.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key community partners/stakeholders
- Facilitating evidence-based outreach activities with young people & young adults, to a high standard of delivery
- Engage in team meetings, service development days, and 1:1/group supervision in a meaningful way
- Experience of working within a community service setting – e.g., youth work, drug & alcohol, mental health, sexual health, community safety
- Working knowledge of safeguarding children & vulnerable adults, with an understanding of professional accountability
Key details:
- Hourly Rate: 16 – 19
- Contract Length: 3–6 months
- Working Hours: 37.5 (Monday to Friday)
