A community orientated Primary school based in Chorley is looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join their team in September 2026.

This excellent Primary school is a family of learners, with a strong sense of community. The school's goal is to prepare these pupils to be independent, world individuals. The school aims for all pupils to develop with a strong sense of self and confidence that will allow them to succeed in school and in their personal life. This school provides a broad and challenging curriculum that enables each pupil to develop initiative, confidence, dedication, imagination and a strong sense of self. The school wants all pupils to grow into independent, self-disciplined and respectful members of society.

The ideal teacher will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated Year 4 Teacher who is able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement. The school works as a team when it comes to planning and the whole school works off the same criteria for effective learning and development. This school encourages its teachers to be creative with their lesson planning, coupled with the abundance of facilities available to the teachers. This school prides itself on its behaviour management and they like each teacher to follow their behaviour policy which has been highly successful over the last 2 years. This Year 4 class is extremely diverse in terms of pupil attainment and the right teacher for this role must be experienced in differentiating their lessons for all learners.

Teacher Criteria:

  • Experienced Teachers either UK or overseas trained teachers able to apply.
  • Must have experience teaching in the UK and have a clear understanding of the National Curriculum.
