We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Assembly Operator to join a growing manufacturing and production business based in Blackbushe. Due to increased customer demand and continued expansion, the company is looking to strengthen its production team with someone who has a strong eye for detail and previous assembly experience within a technical manufacturing environment.

The Role

This position would suit somebody with previous experience in electronics or mechanical assembly who is confident working from engineering drawings and technical documentation in a fast-paced production setting. You will be responsible for assembling products from PCB and component level through to fully finished units while ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and production deadlines are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble products from PCB level through sub-assemblies to completed finished units
  • Follow engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and technical documentation accurately
  • Use soldering irons, crimp tools, measuring equipment, and assembly tools safely and effectively
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards
  • Identify and report any specification, design, or assembly issues to engineering or production teams
  • Raise non-conformance reports and engineering change requests where required
  • Support continuous production flow by working closely with engineering, quality, and stores teams
  • Assist other assembly operators when needed to help meet production targets
  • Maintain accurate production records and update internal systems accordingly
  • Support stock checks, part enquiries, and other production-related activities

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production assembly environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience using assembly and production tools such as soldering irons and crimp tools
  • Experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly processes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic IT literacy

Desirable

  • Surface mount assembly experience
  • Previous experience within an electronics manufacturing environment
