The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering high‑quality care while helping to lead and support the wider care team across shifts.
Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate, person‑centred care to residents

- Safely administering medication
- Leading shifts and supporting junior care staff when required
- Maintaining accurate digital care records using Log My Care
- Working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and occasional night cover

Shift Patterns
- Night Duty: 10:00 pm – 8:00 am
- Day Shifts: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm / 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Evening Shifts: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm / 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Weekend enhancements available for weekend day and evening shifts
About You
- Previous experience within residential elderly care
- Experience supporting residents with dementia and frailty
- Medication administration experience preferred
- Confident using digital systems and care records
- Flexible and reliable with a good attendance record
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Calm, caring, and proactive approach to resident support
- Own transport preferred due to rural location
