Academics are currently recruiting dedicated English Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Worksop on a temporary, ongoing supply basis. About the Role
As an English Supply Teacher in Worksop, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You may work on both short-term and longer-term assignments, either within your English specialism or occasionally providing general cover where required. This offers a varied and rewarding teaching experience across different school environments. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about English and want to inspire a love of literature and language while maintaining flexibility in their working schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities and learning styles

- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Degree in English or a related subject
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexible and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
