Are you a Workshop Manager or similar from an HGV / Commercial Vehicle / Buses background looking to step into an autonomous leadership role where you will become the go-to engineering specialist within a leading company who offer pathways of progression across the organisation? This well-established transport company are part of a wider group who have been operating within the UK for over 100 years. Due to an ever-increasing workload, a new manager will be vital in maintaining an efficient workshop and liaising with the Area Manager.
In this role you will be the go-to engineering specialist within the company as you oversee all day-to-day depot operations. No two days will be the same, but mornings will be focused on scheduling workload, runouts, dealing with any fleet defects and returning vehicles to the road as swiftly as possible. Afternoons will usually be spent completing planned maintenance.
This role would suit a Workshop Manager or similar from a heavy vehicle/transport background looking for a fully autonomous leadership role within a very successful transport organisation.
The Role:
- Help to oversee all engineering operations on site
- Organise a team of engineers and delegate workload
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance
- Monday to Friday flexible hours based on a 40-hour week
The Person:
- Workshop Manager or similar
- From an HGV / PSV / Agricultural fleet background
- UK driving license
