A permanent Finance Manager position at a growing retail business in Worcester, offering a salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum with Monday‑Friday hours (9‑5).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts
  • Review individual company management accounts
  • Assist in the production of monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis across all entities
  • Submit VAT and overseas sales tax returns
  • Manage a small team
  • Improve processes and efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
  • Demonstrable experience providing day‑to‑day financial management and support
  • Hands‑on, “sleeves rolled up” approach with the ability to get stuck in
  • High attention to detail and ability to coordinate substantial amounts of information
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to build relationships with non‑finance stakeholders
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of accounting software (Oracle NetSuite highly advantageous)
