A permanent Finance Manager position at a growing retail business in Worcester, offering a salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum with Monday‑Friday hours (9‑5).
Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts
- Review individual company management accounts
- Assist in the production of monthly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis across all entities
- Submit VAT and overseas sales tax returns
- Manage a small team
- Improve processes and efficiencies
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Demonstrable experience providing day‑to‑day financial management and support
- Hands‑on, “sleeves rolled up” approach with the ability to get stuck in
- High attention to detail and ability to coordinate substantial amounts of information
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to build relationships with non‑finance stakeholders
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of accounting software (Oracle NetSuite highly advantageous)
