TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across the Bristol area, who are looking to recruit enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants for supply opportunities. The schools are committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning environments where children are encouraged to develop both academically and socially.
The schools are looking to take on dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants on a flexible supply basis from September, with opportunities for day-to-day cover and longer-term placements. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, working alongside class teachers to provide classroom support and encourage pupil engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
- A caring and patient approach to supporting children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to support pupils across KS1 and KS2
- A positive and adaptable attitude
- Good classroom support and behaviour management skills
