Role: CNC Miller

Location: Bristol

Salary: Competitive - with potential for overtime.

Hours: 07:30 - 16:45 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 Friday.

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality precision engineering environment, supporting projects within demanding industries including aerospace.

Responsibilities

  • Set, program, and operate CNC milling machines
  • Work with a range of equipment including Haas mills, twin pallet Brother machines, and a Doosan 5-axis machine
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all work meets required quality standards and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working with Fanuc control systems
  • Ability to independently set, program, and operate CNC machines
  • Experience using Fusion 360 (preferred, but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience machining plastics (advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience working within aerospace or similarly regulated industries
  • Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 standards
