Looking to get involved in high-profile projects that genuinely stand out? This is an opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy delivering complex building and infrastructure schemes across the UK and beyond.
Our client is growing its team and is seeking a Civil Engineer with ambition, curiosity, and a desire to develop. The role offers exposure to a broad mix of sectors including defence, education, aviation, and public realm, with involvement from early concept design right through to construction. It's an ideal position for someone keen to strengthen their technical capability while gaining experience in a collaborative, design-led environment.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and coordination of infrastructure elements that support building developments. This includes drainage strategies, sustainable drainage systems, external works, access roads, and car park design, alongside involvement in planning submissions, statutory approvals, and technical consents. Projects span the UK, with occasional opportunities to contribute internationally.
The role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on with design while working closely with other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions. Strong technical grounding in civil infrastructure design is expected, along with familiarity with UK standards and approval processes. Competency in tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D is important, with experience in drainage modelling software such as InfoDrainage or Flow seen as highly beneficial. Exposure to BIM environments, including Revit and BIM 360, would also be advantageous.
Candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in civil engineering and be working towards Chartered status. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to manage time effectively and contribute positively within a team setting. An interest in digital engineering, automation, and emerging design technologies will be well received.
Flexible and hybrid working options are embedded in the culture, alongside a genuine commitment to professional development and long-term career progression.
