We are currently seeking experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitors to join a growing legal team based in Bristol. Applications are welcomed from qualified solicitors of all levels who have demonstrable experience in housing disrepair matters.
The Role
- Manage a varied caseload of housing disrepair claims, acting on behalf of housing associations and other social landlords.
- Work within a supportive and forward‐thinking environment with clear progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception through to resolution.
- Advising housing associations and social landlords on their legal obligations and risk exposure.
- Handling pre‐action protocol matters, drafting pleadings, and negotiating settlements.
- Liaising with experts, tenants' representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Representing clients at hearings where required.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in housing disrepair work.
- Open to all PQE levels, provided relevant practical experience is demonstrated.
- Strong litigation and case management skills.
- Excellent client care and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
