I am looking for hard working, energetic candidates with a sense of responsibility to work as a Wood Picker at our Arbor Forest Team in New Holland. As a Wood Picker, you will be working alongside small team members to ensure all orders are picked correctly and in a timely manner. It is a physically demanding role.
Hourly rate: £14.40
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 5.00am to 1.00pm
This is a permanent role from day one!
Responsibilities:
- Abide by Health and Safety requirements
- Pick orders to customers' specifications
- Manually pick and sort timber/timber products
- Complete daily plant checks and report any defects
- Store stock in the correct manner and ensure stock rotation
- Carry out weekly stock checks
- General daily housekeeping and keeping a record
Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Ensuring targets are met
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Effective communicator
- Timber knowledge (desirable)
- Combi Forklift license (desirable but not essential as this is not solely a forklift role)
