Highly successful, niche business is currently seeking a Transport Planning Manager. Great opportunity to join a well established and continually expanding business within a fantastic industry. Excellent package on offer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and improving overall operational performance of the site, with a focus on routing efficiency/planning.
  • The role will have direct line management of operational drivers and administrative staff.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are manned appropriately to ensure smooth operations.
  • As Transport Planning Manager, you will need to be aware of all activity on site including opening and closing.

The successful candidate will have experience in logistics/operations management and route planning of multiple high volume deliveries. With excellent communication, inter-personal analytical and Microsoft skills, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and have management experience, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have a flexible approach.

A full driving licence and flexibility to travel for meetings/training/site visits is essential.

In return, you can expect a salary of £38,000 - £40,000 pa benefits working Monday to Friday days. We will be interested in speaking to candidates who have extensive route planning experience and may be looking for a step up to management or already in a similar role.
