Prime Appointments are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a renowned British Manufacturing and Production company based in Witham. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone with experience in a warehouse and logistics environment who is looking to develop their skills and grow within a well‑established organisation.
Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operator:
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and practices within the logistics area.
- Ensure stock movements are managed in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Ensure technical procedures are up to date, understood, and followed.
- Perform and record product tests as required.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
- Monitor safe working practices within the team and address any unsafe conditions or behaviours immediately.
The Ideal Warehouse Operator:
- Previous experience in a warehouse and logistics environment.
- A positive and cooperative attitude towards colleagues and other departments.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and work in a cost‑efficient manner.
Salary & Hours:
- £27,540 - £33,542 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:15pm
- Option to work either 39 hours or 47.5 hours per week
