Location: Witham

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm (45 minutes break at 9:00am and 12:00pm) - Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm (same break structure)

Pay: £12.71ph + Holiday, Pension and Adecco Benefits - Pay increase upon going permanent

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: Immediate start after successful interview

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Inspector (Glass) to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring all incoming glass meets quality standards by conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and reporting issues promptly to maintain production efficiency and product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect all glass deliveries upon arrival to ensure they meet required quality standards
  • Identify defects such as scratches, chips, distortions, or other imperfections
  • Accurately record and report any issues in a timely manner
  • Liaise with relevant departments to resolve quality concerns
  • Maintain inspection records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times
  • Support general production activities when required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within the glass or manufacturing industry (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
