Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Site Cleaning Operative to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Witham. This company supplies food-based products to the entertainment and hospitality industry and is looking for reliable candidates to support the smooth running of the site during a busy period. This is a hands-on role working across different areas of the factory, assisting experienced operatives with industrial cleaning duties, site upkeep, and maintaining safe working environments.

Duties will include:

  • Clearing product spillages
  • Pressure washing machinery
  • Cleaning production areas, including some confined spaces

Full training will be provided, with opportunities to gain additional certifications including Confined Spaces, Working at Height, and Manual Handling.

Duties of the Site Cleaning Operative:

  • Assisting experienced production and cleaning operatives
  • Cleaning industrial machinery and production areas
  • Pressure washing equipment and factory spaces
  • Clearing product spillages safely and efficiently
  • Working both indoors and outdoors across the site
  • Completing manual handling tasks
  • Supporting general factory housekeeping duties
  • Working in confined spaces and at height following training

The Ideal Site Cleaning Operative:

  • Previous industrial cleaning, factory, or utilities experience would be beneficial
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers
  • Physically fit and able to complete manual handling duties
  • Flexible and willing to work across different departments
  • Available to start immediately
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
