Shift: 4 on 4 off - 7am to 7pm / 3am to 3pm (Flexi start required)
Pay Rate: 14.09 per hour
Here at Wisbech, we have a team of 525 colleagues and manufacture premium chilled ready to cook meals for major retailers such as Sainsbury's, Aldi and Co-op.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces.
- Follow recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency across batches so that our customers receive high quality products on time, every time.
- Efficiently carry out any assigned operation or task, meeting all output targets.
- Effectively contribute to improved line performance and efficiencies.
- Maintain excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards.
- Resolve running problems/issues.
- Handle food ingredients.
- Able to follow manual lifting processes to handle 5kg to 20kg weighted resources.
- Participate in training and mentoring of new staff.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve the production/process.
- Communicate effectively with your area leaders.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working within a food manufacturer preferred.
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good communicator and ability to work in a team.
- Allergen awareness.
- L2 Food Safety is preferred but not essential.
