Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them succeed in their education? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisors to work in high schools across the Winsford area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity in students' education when their regular teacher is absent. If you have experience working with young people and possess strong communication and classroom management skills, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the classroom and ensure they stay focused on assigned tasks during the teacher's absence
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Support students with their learning and ensure work is completed on time
- Assist with students' well-being and provide additional support as needed
- Report any issues or concerns to appropriate school staff
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure safety and consistency
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working with young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is advantageous)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
