Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9 million of investment going into the factory & growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used
- Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules
- Carry out safety checks on a range of equipment
- Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair machinery
- Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs, risk assessments
- Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues
- Work on a range of valves & pumps
- Support production & continuous improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
- Continuous improvement knowledge
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
- Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments
