Are you an experienced Marketing Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity, where you can take ownership of the Marketing Strategy, and work closely with a high performing team, in a growing organisation? We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead and deliver strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and hands‑on marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment and collaborates well with internal teams to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within construction or a similar environment, and be comfortable managing a team, as well as being very hands on to deliver outstanding results across the Marketing remit.
Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:
- You will oversee marketing campaigns from concept to execution while managing the company's online presence, CRM systems, and promotional activities.
- Play key role in supporting sales activity, strengthening customer engagement, and enhancing the company's market presence.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Manage integrated multi‑channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, PPC, SEO, exhibitions, and traditional marketing channels.
- Lead and support the wider marketing team to achieve departmental goals.
- Create engaging marketing materials including brochures, exhibition graphics, press releases, case studies, and online content.
- Manage and optimise CRM systems to improve customer engagement and repeat business.
- Drive social media activity and increase audience engagement across platforms.
- Organise and coordinate industry exhibitions, trade shows, and events to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
- Oversee website development, content updates, SEO performance, and PPC campaigns to maximise online traffic and conversions.
- Explore and implement AI and marketing automation tools to improve efficiency and campaign performance.
- Manage advertising and promotional budgets effectively.
- Liaise with clients, architects, surveyors, contractors, and industry stakeholders to support business development activities.
The successful Marketing Manager:
- We are looking for a confident, driven marketing professional with strong leadership skills and a hands‑on approach.
- Previous marketing management experience within construction, building products, manufacturing, or a similar, technical industry.
- Strong people management and leadership skills - you will be managing a team of marketing and support staff across more than one location in the UK.
- Proven experience developing and delivering successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing knowledge including SEO, PPC, email marketing, website management, and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with experience producing high-quality marketing materials.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse marketing performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Spotler, or similar marketing software.
