Salary and Hours

Salary: 39,835.85 per annum plus Veolia benefits. Daily meal allowance: 5.00 per day worked. Single person daily allowance: 39.96. Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday; starts at 4am and finishes at 14:00. Location: Poole, BH16 6LT.

Responsibilities

  • Drive to planned collection locations and collect empty multiple commercial waste containers
  • Input all information into the onboard system and keep paperwork up to date; submit daily
  • Complete daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook
  • Comply with all traffic laws and legislation including load weight limits
  • Leave carriageway clean and clean up any spillages

Qualifications

Essential
  • Class 2 (Cat C) license
  • Up to date CPC
  • Digi / Tachograph Card
Desirable
  • Previous waste management experience
  • Experience with RORO and Skip
