Mainstay Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to join our long-standing client based in Willenhall, Wolverhampton. Start times are generally between 04:00 and 06:00, and shifts tend to last between 10 and 12 hours, involving a mixture of local and longer distance deliveries. Perfect if you want every day to be a little bit different.

Our client has a large fleet of tractor units and refrigerated trailers, all kept to a very high standard. Due to the work involving food products, there is not a 'quiet period' and the company can offer work all year round.

Drivers with over 6 months experience are preferred and will be provided thorough training following an assessment and induction process. Drivers must have a level of physical fitness as there will be some manual handling involved.

In return for the hard work and professionalism of their drivers, our client offers a fantastic hourly rate of pay and an on-going, stable position of work. Pay Monday – Friday – £19 per hour (inc holiday). Weekend work is available if drivers wish to pick up extra shifts, and weekend work is paid at a premium.
