Our client, a market-leading company within their sector, is currently seeking a Production/Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied role within a leading organisation in its field.
Responsibilities:
- Operating semi-automatic and automated machines
- Setting up, monitoring and adjusting production and packaging lines to ensure efficient operation and minimise waste
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products are filled, labelled and packaged correctly
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and site hygiene at all times
- Moving stock and materials safely around the production area
- Manual handling duties, including lifting and moving heavy items
- Assisting with the handling and preparation of raw materials as required
Skillset & Experience:
- Previous experience within a similar environment would be ideal
- Valid FLT licence would be beneficial, although not essential
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Hands on approach
- IT literate
