Team Teach Trained SEMH Teaching Assistant - Specialist School Wickford, Essex
Start: September 2026
Long-term contract with potential for permanent placement after successful probation.
Hours: 8:30 am‑3:30 pm (Monday‑Friday)

Responsibilities:
- Build secure relationships with children & young people.
- Understand the specific needs of children, especially those with trauma.
- Support pupils with social and emotional needs.
- Work 1:1 with pupils.
Qualifications:
- Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.
- Desirable experience: care work, PRU, SEMH experience.
