We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join a luxury 4-star hotel and spa in Weybridge. This is a high-end hospitality environment where exceptional personal presentation is required at all times.

Overview

As Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all maintenance functions on the property to the highest standards, while managing expenditure and supervising projects. This is a hands-on role within a small, professional team. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager, drawing on your hospitality experience to ensure all maintenance requirements are met to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all maintenance functions on the property to the highest standards.
  • Manage expenditure and supervise maintenance projects.
  • Demonstrate sound health and safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work early and late shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays, and be available for emergency call-outs.

This position is a 45-hour contract over 5 days.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Health and Safety Qualification (mandatory).
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of electrics, plumbing, painting, decorating and general maintenance.
  • Previous hotel environment experience (desirable).
  • Exceptional standards of service.
