As a Line Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our production lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead your allocated line team while working closely with Logistics, Technical, and Engineering departments. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are essential. We have opportunities available across both day and night shifts to suit your preference.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards at all times.
- Be involved in the shift start meetings (07:00 / 19:00), ensuring all line activities are clearly communicated and understood by the team.
- Ensure all line paperwork is completed on time and in full to maintain compliance.
- Maintain your work area to required GMP standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance.
- Deliver production targets across output, changeovers, hygiene, and waste/giveaway.
- Carry out trained operational tasks including changeovers and allergen cleans across multiple areas.
- Work closely with the Shift Manager/Supervisor to ensure team members are fully trained, competent, and performing effectively.
- Complete thorough and accurate handovers with the oncoming Line Leader, ensuring line standards are maintained.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive, accountable, and team-focused culture.
About You:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of GMP and health & safety practices.
