Machine Operator / Process Operator

Monday - Friday 6am-2pm

Competitive + OT Temp to Perm Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City

Performance Objectives

  • Responsible for ensuring specific polishing trimming operations are carried out
  • Fully competent in grinding, drilling, punching and using band saws
  • Experience in using measuring equipment such as Vernier callipers/protractors & Micrometers
  • Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices - report deviation from H&S good practice immediately

Person Specification

  • Some basic self-inspection required
  • Health & Safety Training
  • Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to polishing and spraying machines
  • Experience in a Metal Polishing / Trimming working environment
  • Experience of using hand and power tools is essential
