Exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Assessor to join this leading civil engineering and construction firm within the rail sector. We are currently supporting a growing rail infrastructure business in the search for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their HSQE team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a progressive and expanding organisation that genuinely invests in its people.

The role will involve:

  • Environmental compliance and risk management
  • ISO 14001 audits and inspections
  • Supporting sustainability and Net Zero initiatives
  • Developing and reviewing EMPs/ESMPs
  • Working closely with project teams, clients, and regulators
  • Driving continuous improvement across multiple projects

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Experience within the rail, infrastructure, or construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation
  • ISO 14001 experience
  • Environmental auditing experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable experience:

  • Network Rail or Tier 1 contractor project experience
  • RISQS knowledge
  • PTS certification
  • Sustainability and Net Zero reporting experience
