We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy vegetable processing factory in Brandon. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team working in a fast‑paced production environment.

Job Overview

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for ensuring vegetables are processed, sorted, packed, and prepared to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Main Duties

  • Checking and sorting vegetables on the production line
  • Removing debris such as rocks, stones, and other foreign objects
  • Packing potato bags up to 20kg
  • Supporting the smooth running of the production line
  • Ensuring products meet customer quality specifications
  • Carrying out quality checks on finished products
  • Assisting colleagues with lifting and moving items, including heavy lifting
  • Reducing manual handling risks where possible
  • Following all health & safety procedures
  • Other general production duties as required

Shift Pattern

Day shifts starting at 07:00 until finish (depending on production/orders). Full‑time and part‑time positions available.

Pay Rates

£12.71 per hour. Overtime after 39 hours: £17.17 per hour.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Willingness to carry out manual work and heavy lifting (including 20kg bags)
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Previous production or factory experience is beneficial but not essential
