We are currently recruiting for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a rapidly expanding business supporting both military and commercial sectors. With exciting new projects launching, this is a fantastic time for a Sheet Metal Worker to become part of a growing and forward‑thinking team.
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rates:
- Day Shift: £20.27 per hour PAYE
- Rotational Shift: £23.31 per hour PAYE (NO nights)
- Overtime available at premium rates
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble both light alloy and non‑light alloy components
- Prepare weld preps for welding teams
- Work efficiently to high‑quality standards in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements:
- Experience using belt sanders or linishing tools
- Strong hand fabrication skills
- Ability to bend and shape metals accurately
- Experience working with thin sheet metals
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) preferred
- Background in small sheet metal assembly
- Previous sheet metal experience is highly desirable
