An established manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to oversee daily transport and dispatch operations at its Wednesbury site. This position will involve managing delivery schedules, route planning, driver coordination and supporting the wider warehouse and production operation to ensure goods are dispatched accurately and on time.

  • Organising daily dispatch activities
  • Planning and coordinating delivery routes
  • Managing workloads across drivers and despatch staff
  • Monitoring dispatch accuracy and operational KPIs
  • Supporting warehouse efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Maintaining health & safety standards
  • Liaising with production and operations teams

Candidates should have:

  • Previous experience within transport, logistics or dispatch
  • Strong route planning experience
  • Strong background in transport scheduling and load planning
  • Experience supervising or leading a team
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Strong IT and administration skills

This is a fully site-based role offering a salary of up to £36,000 depending on experience.
