We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Goods In / Goods Out Supervisor to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with strong warehouse experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives
  • Overseeing all Goods In and Goods Out operations
  • Ensuring all deliveries and dispatches are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Carrying out quality checks on incoming and outgoing stock
  • Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Booking stock onto internal systems accurately
  • Preparing and checking dispatch paperwork
  • Monitoring stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
  • Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely within the warehouse
  • Operating FLT Counterbalance as required
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
  • Liaising with warehouse, transport, and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Supporting continuous improvement within warehouse processes
  • Ensuring all team members are working efficiently and following procedures correctly

Requirements

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence - essential
  • Previous experience within a Goods In / Goods Out supervisory role
  • Experience supervising or leading a small warehouse team
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence using warehouse systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively
  • Reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach
