Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer required to join a leading Engineering Service provider. The Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Installation Engineer will be field-based, primarily covering commercial sites, and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Water Treatment systems, including pumps and circulation equipment, valves, dosing systems, water softeners, filtration systems and media, and water treatment solutions.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a Service, Installation, or maintenance role within Water Treatment or Filtration.

Package:

  • £35,000 - £45,000 Basic pay
  • Annual Bonus
  • Overtime rate from 1.5x - 2x
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • Monday to Friday work week, you get the weekend for yourself!

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Water Treatment systems, including pumps and circulation equipment, valves, dosing systems, water softeners, filtration systems and media, and water treatment solutions.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs in commercial plant rooms associated with pool systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Commercial water treatment equipment and systems.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards during maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including job sheets and customer reports.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the work is done effectively.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical skills are essential, with experience ideally in a Service, Installation, or maintenance role within Water Treatment or Filtration.
  • Familiarity with pumps and commercial pool systems is an advantage, though training will be provided.
  • Ability to use basic tools and demonstrate practical problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Electrical skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Be involved in an on-call rota, at an enhanced rate.
  • Full UK driving licence, and willingness to cover Scotland.
