We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Workshop Operator to support a busy manufacturing and fabrication environment. This is a varied, hands-on position involving repair, rework, assembly, and general workshop duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repairing and reworking products made from various materials
  • General assembly of components using fasteners and bonding methods
  • Drilling using pillar drills and hand tools
  • Riveting and fitting rivnuts
  • Cutting materials using bandsaws, jigsaws, ripsaws, and hand saws
  • Basic sheet metal fabrication tasks
  • Working with specialist adhesives and materials
  • Sanding, finishing, and preparing parts
  • Using a wide range of hand tools
  • Inspecting parts for defects and reporting issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Working effectively as part of a team
