We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Workshop Operator to support a busy manufacturing and fabrication environment. This is a varied, hands-on position involving repair, rework, assembly, and general workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairing and reworking products made from various materials
- General assembly of components using fasteners and bonding methods
- Drilling using pillar drills and hand tools
- Riveting and fitting rivnuts
- Cutting materials using bandsaws, jigsaws, ripsaws, and hand saws
- Basic sheet metal fabrication tasks
- Working with specialist adhesives and materials
- Sanding, finishing, and preparing parts
- Using a wide range of hand tools
- Inspecting parts for defects and reporting issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working effectively as part of a team
